Tina Turner - Simply The Best - Album

Simply The Best is Tina’s first and very successful greatest hits album from 1991 with four single releases. In the UK, it’s her most successful album up today, stayed in the charts for over two years and is certified 8 times platinum. Beside Tina’s most popular hits, the album includes also three previously unreleased songs, as well as a re-recorded dance version of the classic track Nutbush City Limits and a remastered version of River Deep - Mountain High. In Europe, an additional „Limited Edition Box Set“ was released in 1992, which includes the original European CD, VHS video, six postcards and a booklet with the lyrics. The track listing differs slightly between the European and American release. In Australia, an additional 2 disc edition was released in 1992, which contains also the duet Simply The Best with Jimmy Barnes. For promotion, Tina performed the song „Way Of The World“ at several tv shows in Europe.
