Jack Robinson was an American photographer for magazines like Vogue, Life and The New York Times from the 1950s to the early 1970s before he left New York to return home to the American South and pursue a career as a stained glass designer. He did some of the most iconic photographs from Ike & Tina Turner and Tina solo in 1969 at a session in New York City. Some of his pictures were used in 2023 for the cover of the magazines like Rock & Folk and Libération.
