Tina Turner - Top of the Pops - TV

Top of the Pops was a British music chart television programme, broadcasted weekly on BBC between January 1964 and July 2006. Both, Ike & Tina and Tina were guests on the show several times. The first solo appearance was with a wonderful live interpretation of her recent single Help in 1984, shortly before Tina recorded her Private Dancer album. To promote her Foreign Affair album and the tour, she was three times guest in 1989 / ’90. In 1991, Tina performed Way Of The World live in the studio, which is the only live version of this song. Also for her Wildest Dreams album she was twice guest and On Silent Wings was broadcasted live from a concert in Stockholm into the studio. The last appearance was in 1999 / 2000 with her recent singles from her last studio album Twenty Four Seven.
