All The Best is Tina’s second greatest hits album, including her biggest hits, three new recorded songs and an extended version of „Great Spirits“ from the Brother Bear soundtrack. The track „Something Special“ was an previously unreleased song from the Wildest Dreams recording session and Complicated Disaster was intended for the second single after Open Arms, but was only released as a digital download. The album marked the highest chart entry for Tina in America, with #2 in it's first week. In April 2018, it was reissued in England under the title The Greatest Hits, including a different cover art to promote the Tina Turner musical in London. In Germany, it was instead re-released as a 'musical edition' on December 07, 2018 with the original cover art but with a sticker on the front and infos about the musical in the booklet.
Parlophone / EMI Records released also a promotional disc with an interview about the stories behind the songs of this album. The interview is divided in 23 cuts (total duration 29.20). It was conducted by Alan Jackson, in Zurich Switzerland, in September 2004. The video version of this interview was later included as a bonus feature on the All The Best home video and the Open Arms CD single.
